Turn in #11 is due Monday, Jan. 5, 2015!
This is for discussing turn-in #11 or anything else related to the
class. Please be sure to include your

**IMPORTANT** The function for the turn in is f(x) = x^3 - 11x^2 + 34x - 12
What exactly is #12 on the turn-in asking us to find? I found f(1) and f'(1), but I'm not sure what I'm looking for...

I do not have my copy in front of me, but I believe that question is asking for the slope of the inverse to f at f(1).
DeleteYes, number 12 is asking for the equation of the tangent line of the inverse of f at the given point.
DeleteFor number 8 on the turn in which graph do you want us to graph it on?
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Rachel Hersch
Put your graphs on the first page, please.
DeleteFor number 9 on the turn in, do we have to use algebra to prove it, or can we use the graph?
ReplyDeleteThank you,
Angela Satullo
#9 is looking to use a particular theorem. To do so you'll have to show the function satisfies a couple of conditions, which can be done with a single sentence by utilizing the type of function it is.
DeleteWas there any book work assigned with this turn-in?
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Allison Honet
No 😃
